Swan Bride celebrate twenty years as a band and return to live performance after several years at Festival slobody.
Swan Bride formed in 2006. Starting from rock’n’roll and punk, they moved on to tango, cabaret and polka, and later to post-punk, new wave, krautrock, pop and blues. Their five records, from Monsters in Your Drawers (2007) to Timelines (2017), combine urgent walls of noise, repetitive grooves and rock’n’roll energy; in their early days they described their sound as “aristocratic punk”.
They have played at the Pohoda, Rock for People and Grape festivals and alongside The Horrors and Foals. After a long break, Swan Bride are playing together again and preparing new songs.
